Although famous for their Mokume damascus finishes, the forge of Tasai is capable of producing stunning chisels in many ways. These chisels have been finished by hand using the forge's amazing array of fine-stitched files, before having a satin silver finish applied to them.

The effect is somewhat subtle compared to other Tasai manufactured tools, yet still utterly gorgeous. The flat facets created by the files also bear the subtle texture of those tools' teeth marks. All laminations of the edge steel are crisp and well defined.

This set of chisels carries the same phenomenal edges that are a signature of all of Tasai-san's tools - a blue paper steel edge of special formulation (Aogami 1.5) that exhibits extremely tough properties while taking a fantastic edge.

This set contains 3mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 15mm, 18mm, 24mm, 30mm, 36mm and 42mm chisels in a hand-calligraphied pawlonia box.
